Product Dimensions and Manufacturing
- 4mm thick with a 20 mil wear layer.
- Superior Dimensional Stability: a combination of the raw materials used & chemistry in the product contributes toward its stability.
- Product Engineering: no adhesives are used in the plys of the product. A Hot Press Method allows for all layers to be fused together, with no chance for Delamination.
- Precise milling along sides & ends form a Micro V Bevel, allowing for a water tight fit.
3 Principles That Make Freefit Work
- Patented Backing: suction technology that forms an anti-skid surface between the substrate & the Freefit product.
- Density: the weight of the product allows it to lay flat to the substrate.
- Tight Perimeter Installation: locks in the product, allowing no movement.
No Rolling of any kind during or after installation.
Acclimation
- Acclimate for 48 hours for flexibility purposes; ease of installation.
Product can be glued down if desired using a standard LVT Adhesive.
Only LVT that a Plank and Tile can be easily installed on the same floor.

Cutting the Product
- Score & Snap with a Utility Knife.
- Bullet Tool/Guillotine/VCT Cutter
Maintenance
- Routine Maintenance: standard hard surface or LVT cleaner with a microfiber head.
- Heavy Soiled Areas: medium speed buffer with a red pad & LVT cleaner.
Dent Resistance
- Can withstand up to 2,000 psi. A stiletto heel equals 1600 psi.
Can be installed over any substrate, except carpet.
- When installing over terrazzo, vct, epoxy floor or equivalent, roughing of the surface or bead blasting is not necessary.
Subfloor Preparation:
- Levelness: standard wood or laminate guidelines – 1/8” in 10’.
